These lanyards are designed to hold everything you need while out on your next trip!
On this lanyard there is a place for:

There is a clip that you can attach to your shirt or jacket so that when you bend down all of your stuff doesn't swing forward creating a problem/annoyance.
There is also a quick dry towel so you can soak the water out of your flies easily when out fishing!
As with all lanyards there is a quick release in case of emergency with several pounds of pressure the quick release will give way to ensure you are not going to ensnare yourself.
