The Clouser minnow is a DEADLY pattern on all varieties of fish. In VA we fished them in both saltwater and freshwater. Down 2 seconds from the shop on the James and in small tributaries and lakes.

Any fish that eats a minnow will eat a Clouser.

These are an excellent searching pattern, or 1st fly as they are relatively simple to make!
