Damselflies are prevalent in most lakes, and in our mighty James River. They make for a great option when you are actively trying to find fish as these nymph smove at surprising speeds underwater. 
Cast out into the lake around structure or depth changes and slowly retrieve the fly. You never know what you may pull out!
