This material certainly falls into the wheelhouse of the saltwater tier. You can make very durable flies with this. Think baitfish. Surf Candies, Synthetic Clousers, etc. are all made easliy with SF fiber. It's a stiffer material so you won't have to deal with foul-hooking as much as with more pliable fibers such as EP fiber.
